2nd Annual Celebrity Golf Classic - August 12th

The St. Louis AAA Blues are proud to announce Summit Distributing as the Presenting Sponsor for the second St. Louis AAA Blues Celebrity Golf Classic. The event will be held Monday, August 12th at Forest Hills Country Club.

Summit Distributing is Missouri’s largest beer distributor and soon to be largest provider, and holds exclusive relationships with breweries across the globe. “Summit Distributing is extremely proud to support the 2nd Annual AAA Blues Celebrity Golf Classic and the many local youth hockey players who have benefitted from the organization both on and off the ice over the past 30 years,” said John Hummel, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Summit Distributing.

Tom Stillman is the President and CEO of Summit Distributing and has been a major part of the St. Louis community for over 20 years. Stillman also serves as the Chairman and Governor of the St. Louis Blues hockey club of the National Hockey League.

The event will be headlined by some of the top names in St. Louis hockey including Al MacInnis and Keith Tkachuk. Every foursome will play 18 holes of Texas Scramble golf with a current or retired NHL celebrity guest, followed by dinner and a live & silent auction with all celebrity guests in attendance.

Former AAA Blues player Paul Stastny said, “I am excited to be a part of this golf tournament and support the organization that played a big role in my development as a player and person.” 2007 NHL Hall of Fame inductee Al MacInnis added, "Being involved with the St. Louis AAA Blues has been among the most enjoyable parts of my life in Hockey. The AAA Blues are a staple in the St. Louis Hockey community and to watch it grow into one of the top youth hockey organizations has been very rewarding."

Established in 1986, the St. Louis AAA Blues are one of the premier Tier 1 youth hockey clubs in the United States. With over 20 NHL draft picks, the AAA Blues are one of the most represented organizations in junior, college, and professional hockey.
