To our AAA Blues Family,
After our annual meeting on October 14th, Joe Quinn announced his resignation from the St. Louis AAA Blues Board of Directors after more than 12 years of service to the club. As president, Joe led the AAA Blues in several important projects that continue to have a positive impact on the club. As a huge proponent of girls hockey, Joe was instrumental in bringing the St. Louis Lady Blues under the AAA Blues umbrella, creating a complete Tier I organization. With a complete program, Joe was then able to accomplish his largest goal with the opening of the Centene Community Ice Center- bringing the entire organization under one roof and one banner. Joe's work in this area has cleared the way for the future success of our program.
On behalf of the entire AAA Blues Board of Directors, players, families, and alumni, we want to extent our heartfelt gratitude for Joe's work and positive impact on our club, and wish him the best in "hockey retirement".
Lloyd Ney will assume the role of President of the AAA Blues after a unanimous board vote taken last night after the conclusion of the Annual Meeting.
Yours in Hockey,
The Board of Directors- St. Louis AAA Blues
