We will post those players selected within 24 hours of the last tryout (exception for Bantams and Midgets - posted 3/16).
We will send those players/family selected an email link for Spring Payment.
For those selected, please show up to the first skate for your group and schedules posted below for each division.

Boys spring announcement
We will be offering two programs at the boys division for our 2026 Spring Session.
One program will be specific to the 4 youngest birth years or Non-National Bound Birth-years (9U to 12U - Squirt & Pee Wee). Very similar to years past.
- This is inclusive of 2017, 2016, 2015, & 2014 birth-years
Another program will be specific to those 5 older birth years or National Bound Birth-years (13O-18U - Bantam & Midget). See NEWS on main page or information at the bottom of this page for details regarding a rule change that impacts Spring programming.
- This is inclusive of 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, & 2009/08 birth-years.
Both programs will have similarities and differences. See appropriate program details below for more information.
Please use the registration button at the top of the page to register. The system will assign you to the appropriate program based on the age of the player.
We are adding two skates to the Bantam age groups (2012 & 2013) to go with the registration process.

Squirts
SQUIRTS (2017 & 2016)
- 2 distinct groups divided by birth-year (9U, 10U)
- 6-week program running early April to middle of May
- Spring is run by current AAA Blues coaches
- 30 Out-skaters & 4 Goalies per birth year
- AAA Blues Jersey included
- Focus on Skill development & small area games
- Chitown Shuffle for 9U (we plan to taking 2 teams with every player being eligible to participate)
- Racine Goalie Academy (6 weekends of goalie training)
- Exact times to be posted later
- Spring Tryouts: $85 total for both skates
- Two 80-minute tryouts
- Squirts: tryout ice at IceZone/Mills (2017) and centene (2016) (see LINKED document below for times)
- Spring Session: $775 for the 6-week session
- Two 80-minute skates a week (12 skates - 16 total Hours)
- All ice at CCIC (see below for ice times)

- Guest coaches from Juniors, D1 Colleges and NHL will be joining to run a few practices over the course of the program

We are excited to once again be partnering with Coach Bruce Racine and the wonderful instructors from RGA. These 6 GOALIE only sessions are specific to our Spring programming. Please see dates and times below in the attached document.
Mo hockey rule change that will impact recruiting/contract rules for 2026/2027 Season
Missouri Hockey will be aligning the recruiting/contract rule with USA Hockey for the 2026/2027 season. This CHANGE will impact when teams can offer roster spots for the upcoming season at ALL 5 National Bound birth-year teams for next season (Bantam 2013, 2012 and Midgets 2011, 2010, 2009 & 2008).
This rule allows for a club to offer a contract to a player for the upcoming season 48 hours after the last game of Nationals without a tryout process. This year, Nationals are March 23-29 and in various location based on the division. In prior years, we started all Tier 1 (AAA) tryouts on or around May 15th for the upcoming season and that will no longer be the plan with our National Bound teams.
With this Missouri rule change, we are not only moving the timeline up as much as 6 weeks on the selection of teams, we are moving away from formal tryouts to build those teams (at 13O, 14U, 15U, 16U, and 18U). In a nut shell, Coaches will be able to have those contract conversations at the end of March and into April thus building their Fall team throughout the Spring/Summer and before May 15th should they choose.
As a result of this rule change we are going to be adjusting our AAA BLUES SPRING PROGRAMING for those National Bound age players at boys (13O to 18U). We want to double down with the continued on-ice instruction (skate, pass, shoot, compete) & help local players get better through development, exposure and advancement.
Additionally, our plan is to bring in guest coaches for our Spring Programs (National Bound) from the NHL, Juniors and College programs to run a Spring practice and share their perspectives with our Spring player. This will allow players to learn from top coaches representing higher levels of hockey.
