Coaching Requirements

USA Hockey and Missouri Hockey require all Coaches to complete the following 5 items. Please work through the list to remain current and eligible to coach our players. The entire body of work is a must have to be on/off the ice and on the official USA Hockey Roster

USA Hockey Registration is required for all players and coaches who take the ice with the AAA Blues. This is required for all seasons and before any coach can take the ice with any team

Safesport is an online module required by all coaches and volunteers to become more aware of important necessary information to help prevent any abuse from occurring in our sport

USA hockey requires that coaches take online courses for the specific age of the players that they will be coaching for the upcoming season. You only have to take each module once and it doesn't expire.

Required each year pursuant to USA Hockey

This last requirement is an up to date and current coaching certification held by USA Hockey. It's important to note that while this is required by December 31, there are only a couple of these courses per year held locally, so it's important you get registered ASAP. The expiration of your certification depends on the level of certification that you have achieved. Make sure to check your status if you are unsure
